Interactive Desk: LiWest

This project was made in Upper Austria, Linz at Ars Electronica Solutions. Ars Electronica Solutions works for international and national clients. The Company is specialized for interactive technologies to make the clients products vulnerable. The interactive desk is one of many examples, where I was glad to be part of the project.

When a customer enters the new Liwest store at PlusCity in Pasching, he or she is immersed in the world of fiber optics-customers, employees, furnishings-all are integrated into the data cable fiber, and the lighting looks like a flowing stream of data. Liwest Kabelmedien's new presentation creates a unique experience. Ars Electronica Solutions was responsible for its conception and implementation.

Concept

"The centerpiece of the store is the interactive multifunctional table. Customers can mutate into Black Wings players on this table and play virtual ice hockey alone or in pairs. For those who are undecided, the table also becomes a playful tool for finding out which product is best for their household. Haptic pucks representing members of the household are arranged on the table so that the perfect rate can be calculated automatically." Ars Electronica Solutions

My task was to create the User Interface for the desk. It was created with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
My other coworkers took my User Interface and implemented it on Unity.
Furthermore, coworkers who are specialized for interactive furnitures, put the screen into the tailor-made desk.
